Myzone launches daily online family PE lessons

Myzone is delivering free online PE lessons for families via its MZ-Remote platform, every weekday in the morning.

New to the schedule is Myzone Family Burn (Mon-Fri at 8 am-8.30 am GMT), a fun and quick session designed to get kids moving before school.

Myzone unlocked its MZ-Remote platform for everyone since national restrictions have been put in place across the UK.

According to Myzone, the platform is the world's first virtual live group workout where participants can connect and exercise together, while receiving real-time biometric feedback and personalised coaching from a trainer.

Members of a facility can book onto a workout class via Myzone’s app and then connect a wearable Myzone heart-rate monitor before the class begins if they want to see their effort alongside everyone else's.

Once connected, the live effort performance of each participant is shared with the virtual group and the unique effort-based reading from Myzone offers a simple and effective way for the trainer to coach each individual.

For example, if a trainer wants the class to be in the Yellow Zone (80-89 per cent of maximal heart-rate) while performing burpees, and some people haven’t reached this zone, the coach can target feedback to individuals and motivate them to push harder.

MZ-Remote also allows members of a gym facility to stay connected to each other even if they’re not in the same place.

They can see how everyone else is performing in the class, which means they get the same motivation, enjoyment, and competition from their sessions, while working out remotely.

This underscores Myzone’s commitment to helping people feel good about physical activity and themselves, especially in times when social connectedness is sorely needed amid physical distancing still being in place.

Although many people around the world can't travel, Myzone is encouraging everyone to come together to work out with other communities, share an experience and put the effort in together.
